Day 349 - llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch

Sunday 29th August 2010 - Today I spent some of the day in Caernarvon where it rained (well it is Wales). Here i am just up the road at the railway station of llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, it has one of the longest names in the world.

The name means St Mary's Church (Llanfair) in a hollow (pwll) of white hazel (gwyngyll) near (goger) the swirling whirlpool (y chwyrndrobwll) of the church of St Tysilio (llantysilio) with a red cave ([a]g ogo goch).
